It neighbors a village called Bjarmaland and is located near a common trade route. The village is home to a close-knit community of hardworking people who live off of the land and follow their ancient traditions. The village is ruled by a council of respected elders who make decisions for the betterment of the community. They are advised by a wise seeress, who uses her gifts of divination to guide the village through difficult times. The villagers are skilled farmers, hunters, and craftsmen, and they are known for their strong work ethic and self-sufficiency. They are also fiercely independent and loyal to their local community. The villagers live in simple wooden houses with thatched roofs, and they gather in a large hall for feasts and celebrations. The hall is also used for important meetings and as a place of worship for their old gods. Despite their isolation, the villagers of Wesen are not entirely cut off from the outside world. They trade hides, herbs, and bone tools with neighboring villages and towns, and they welcome travelers and outsiders with common hospitality. Overall, Wesen is a peaceful, close-knit community where continued practice of tradition and community are valued above all else.
